Good Shepherd Catholic Church is passionately committed to work, in accordance with the pastoral vision of the Diocese of Charleston, to being servants of God and good stewards of the Sacred Mysteries.
We strive to be a holy and God-centered community growing in joyful righteousness and living without fear by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Empowered by the Spirit, we will help inspire, educate, and support our community and work for unity among the Churches.

Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are obligatory days of fasting and abstinence for Catholics. In addition, Fridays during Lent are obligatory days of abstinence. For members of the Latin Catholic Church, the norms on fasting are obligatory from age 18 until age 59. When fasting, a person is permitted to eat one full meal, as well as two smaller meals that together are not equal to a full meal.
