Ministries of
Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers,
Altar Servers, & Sacristans
Ministry Chair: Dick Obermeyer
Lector: Proclaim the Word of God with the first and second readings at all Sunday Masses, Holy Days of Obligation, or at other Liturgical Services.
Eucharistic Minister: These ministers assist the priest and deacon by distributing the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ during Mass.
Altar Server: This liturgical ministry is designed to serve God first, then the priest and deacon at the altar during Mass.
Sacristan: This person works in the room (sacristy) where various items are stored to be used during Mass and various Liturgies in the church. He or she prepares the church and does a post-liturgy cleaning and restoration of the church and sacristy to an orderly pre-liturgy condition.
